Sami Khedira refused to terminate the contract, and now the German player is asking for compensation from Juventus.

According to FootballItalia Sky Sport Italia, the Turin Juventus midfielder, Khedira, will not terminate his contract with the club if “Bianconeri” does not pay him compensation.

According to the source, the 33-year-old German midfielder has decided to stay in the ranks of the “Old Lady” until the expiration of his current contract. The expiration date is scheduled for the summer of 2021.

Turin’s Juventus wanted Sami Khedira to leave the team as free agents. But no agreement was reached between the player’s agent and the club. So, it is highly likely that the German midfielder will leave the “Alliance Stadium” next year.

As you may know, Khedira joined Bianconeri in 2015 as a free agent from Real Madrid. So, he signed a five-year contract with Juventus, earning an annual salary of six million euros. The German made 99 appearances for Serie A in the Old Lady and scored 15 goals. With the club, he became the winner of the Scudetto five times.
