Jadon Sancho’s terms to leave Dortmund have reportedly been agreed as United may finally sign the midfielder they have wanted in the team all season.

Sancho

Manchester United tried to sign Jadon Sancho in the January window but failed to agree on the price with Borussia Dortmund. In this round, it has been reported Jadon Sancho has been in contact with United to agree on provisional terms for his transfer after Dortmund agreed to his transfer terms.

Drawing from the German publication SPORT1, Sancho has given the move personal approval and is ready to move to Old Trafford-a gesture that will ease fans’ nerves around the transfer saga. Meanwhile, the final piece of the puzzle is agreeing on a fee with Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United is also targeting other goal scores in the window as they have their sights on England and Tottenham star, Harry Kane. The battle for the striker is however fierce with the Champions League and the Premier League title holders (Chelsea and Manchester City respectively) showing their interests in the England captain.

According to Solskjaer, he hopes to make a few signings this summer. “As I’ve said a couple of times, I hope we can strengthen with a few. We definitely need two or three players to challenge higher up in the table. We’re still too far behind to think that it will come by itself”.

“Of course, we’re planning as we normally do. It’s not like at the end of the season we see what we’ll do. It’s an ongoing process, looking at the squad, at the players who are going to stay and the players who might be leaving”.

Battle For Kounde.

The Red Devils are facing huge competition in signing Sevilla defender Jules Kounde from the Spanish giants, Barcelona. Barca is said to be increasing their efforts to bag the star as they target to replace Gerard Pique. However, if the deal comes down to a bidding war, United could possibly come out trump as Barca faces financial constraints as a result of the pandemic.
