Sergio Ramos had a cold response to when asked about Cristiano Ronaldo’s possible departure.

Reports suggest that after a disagreement with his new offered contract, he wants to quit the club at the end of the season.

Spanish TV El Chiringuito said that was angered with the offered contract and has requested the club to let him leave at a reasonable price.

The news of him leaving had re-emerged on the back of his demand to leave last summer when was supposedly accused of tax evasion.

Spanish captain Sergio Ramos who had starred in the game against Russia that ended 3-3, where he successfully converted two penalties.

At the end of the game, he was asked by a journalist on Cristiano Ronaldo’s current situation, and his response was:

“Cristiano is leaving? Ask him; I don’t know about these things.”

After that, he went on talk about his own performance in the game saying.

“Personally, I’m happy to be able to dedicate the goals to my young son. I would have liked to accompany them to a victory, but we have played very well in 2017. The overall aim was to qualify for the World Cup.”

Real Madrid were looking forward to tying Ronaldo down, who had led the Los Blancos to a double back to back Champions League which no other club had done and a La Liga title for the first time in five years.

His current deal the Bernabeu expires in 2021 and from the looks of it the Portuguese man has no intention in extending that.

So, will Cristiano Ronaldo be leaving Real Madrid next summer or will it be the same scenario as it was last summer during the tax evasion fiasco?
