Sergio Ramos admitted that surgery was inevitable. In a fresh interview, Ramos said that there were no other options for his health.

First comment after the surgery

For the first time after the surgery, Ramos is back with the journalists. Journalists asked him about the situation at Real Madrid, health of Ramos and injury cases. Ramos said that everything is going smooth and as planned. He added that operation was not a big deal for him because doctors made sure that he would not have pre or post-operational pain.

Sergio Ramos wants to return to the training already. He said that working for Real Madrid is everything for him and it will be an honor for him to return as soon as possible. Sergio Ramos said that motivating the team for more three points will be important.

Surgery was inevitable

Real Madrid’s captain said that surgery was inevitable. He noted that no player wants to go under an operation but when it’s inevitable, you just have to follow the rules. Ramos has been in serious pain since December. Keep in mind that Ramos played with the pain-killers in the semi-final of SuperCopa. Against Athletic Bilbao, Ramos played the full 90 minutes. He tried to win the game for Los Blancos fans but he failed and the pain got even worse. That’s why Ramos could not return to the pitch or training ground.

Currently Real Madrid has serious problems in the defense. Captain is not available anymore, so Varane has to be the leader. In the last match against Huesca, Raphael Varane scored two goals and made a little come-back for Los Blancos. Experts believe that it’s time for Varane to take leadership in his hands. Militao is also out of the squad due to injury, so Varane may partner up with the Real Madrid B player.
