United tales on Spanish side Villarreal next week and Solskjaer says they can do everything to bring back a trophy. The United coach thanked the fans for their support as they return to Old Trafford hopefully to have something soon.

“It’s great to have you back in, supporting the team. We know it’s been a long, long year for everyone. But I’m so grateful to see you back here supporting everyone,” Solskjaer said.

“It’s been great working with these boys. They’re a great group of staff. I know we’re not where we want to be, winning the league.

“But hopefully we can bring a trophy back in about 10 days. We’ll do what we can and hopefully next season we can see everyone on the seats again,” the Norwegian promised.

“All the best, support the team, and safe trip back home,” he bids the fans farewell.

United had to wait till the final day against Wolverhampton Wanderers to confirm their second-place finish. However, Solskjaer has a tough decision on the selection as the Europa League final awaits him.

On the other hand, Pep Guardiola also welcomes City fans. He claims that it is so nice and much better to have them back.

“It’s another game completely with the fans, so welcome back.

“I am looking to playing against Everton with our fans. It’s so nice, it’s much better. So happy and glad that the fans here in Brighton could come and watch the game,” Guardiola said.
