Round 5 will be tough for big teams. As you know, Sevilla is the leader of the Primera Division with 10 points, but they will face Real Madrid at home.

Sevilla V Real Madrid

Sevilla had a crucial away match in Baku. The Spanish club was playing in the Europa League and had to fly for 10 hours to Baku. It’s the longest distance they have to make the whole season so it could be tiring for players.

Keep in mind that Sevilla played on Thursday evening while Real Madrid had a mid-week game on Wednesday. So, Los Merengues get one more day for rest. Sevilla is the leader of La Liga while Real Madrid is in the third position with 8 points.

Head to head statistics

Real Madrid won last away match in Sevilla in 2015. It’s been four years that Real Madrid can’t take any points from Sevilla. Since 2015, Sevilla won all four home matches and scored a minimum of three goals (the exception was in 2017 when Sevilla scored two goals).

Head to head statistics is not on Zidane’s side. So, the French coach has to find a solution to stop Sevilla’s crazy attack.

Injuries and problems in squads

Sevilla has a full team ready for the match. On the other side, Los Merengues is in a tough situation. The only positive news is that Valverde returned from injury and trained on Friday. Zidane included midfielder in the squad list so that French coach may give Casemiro a rest.

Keep in mind that Asensio, Modric, Marcelo, Isco and Brahim Diaz can’t help Real Madrid yet. All those players have injuries and can’t return until October/November.

Granada V Barcelona

Messi is back from injury. Lionel could not help the team last week against Valencia, but Barcelona scored five goals.

Valverde met with journalists on Friday and talked about away match in Granada. As it seems, Valverde is not happy with the current form of players. Spanish coach mentioned that away games like this could be title winning.

Granada coach also met with journalists. The coach said that match against current La Liga champion would be necessary for player’s mood. Martinez also noted that Granada and Barcelona are in different universes and winning against Messi’s side will be a miracle.

Dembele is still injured and can’t help the team. Meanwhile, Griezmann still needs time to adapt to a new style and strategy. We can see Messi, Griezmann, and Suarez together for the first time this season.
