There will be no place for the Uruguayan Luis Suarez in Ronald Koeman’s team. Juventus are close to signing the 33-year-old forward.

 

After the arrival of Ronald Koeman, those players are leaving in Barcelona, who are not considered by the Dutch specialist in his team. The departures list also includes Luis Suarez, whose future is actively linked to Turin’s Juventus by the media.

As it turns out, the 33-year-old Uruguayan representatives were met by the vice-president of Turin, Pavel Nedved. That’s because, earlyer last week, after negotiations on the details of possible cooperation were already underway.

Luis Suarez’s salary at the Catalan club is 15 million euros. In Italy, they are not ready to pay that much for the forward. According to reports, the Uruguayan has agreed to a personal contract with the club, which provides for a salary of 10 million euros.

In Turin, it is hoped that Suarez will terminate his contract with the Catalan club and join Juventus for free. Earlier it was written that Barcelona would have to pay 14 million euros to terminate the contract with the forward.

Luis Suarez has been playing for Barcelona since 2014. In the 2019/20 season, the Uruguayan played in 36 matches in all competitions with the club shirt, scoring 21 goals and conceding 12 assists.
