What records did they set?

The best start in history

When Liverpool reached 61 points since their opening 21 matches, it was the most team ever accumulated at this point in Europe’s top five leagues.

They continued to expand their record by winning the next six matches achieve 79 points from their first 27 games before losing at Watford.
Most points scored in 38 matches.

Having won 1-0 at Tottenham Hotspur on January 11, Liverpool set a record of 104 points out of 38 Premier League matches, beating the 102 achieved by Manchester City and Chelsea, ending in 2018 and 2005 respectively.

Liverpool extended their record to 110 points with 38 matches after losing to West Ham United 3–2 in February.

The most prominent leader on top

This season, Liverpool had a 25-point lead, the largest in the history of England’s top-flight.

Most home wins in a row.

Liverpool’s victory over West Ham United with a score of 3:2 on February 24 was their 21st consecutive home victory in the Premier League, breaking the Manchester City record – 20, achieved between 2011 and 2012.

Since then, they have extended this record to 23 with victories over AFC Bournemouth and Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Earliest title win

Pretending to be a seven-game title to spare, Liverpool beat the set of becoming champions with five remaining matches established by Manchester United in 2000/01, and Manchester City in 2017/18.

What records are they aimed at?

Most home wins of the season

Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City lost 18 home victories in the Premier League season. Liverpool have won all 17 so far in 2019/20 and could be the first to win all 19.

Most wins of the season

Liverpool are three away from the match with 32 wins claimed by Manchester City in 2017/18 and 2018/19.

Most Points of the Season

Liverpool needs another 11 points out of a possible 15 to equal Manchester City’s record of 100.

Highest Winning Margin

Manchester City won the title by 19 points in 2017/18, and Liverpool are on the move to beat that number.
