Thibaut said that Eden will be back soon. Keep in mind that Eden started exercising alone with the personal coach. Experts believe that Hazard can join the team next week. Rumors suggest that Zidane does not want to do complicated stuff with Eden’s injury i.e. Hazard won’t play El Clasico. Fans wanted to see Eden in the first Clasico of the season. Zinedine Zidane gave the goalkeeper confidence
Belgian player said that Zidane counts on him. Goalkeeper noted that French coach is doing everything to make the whole team united. Thibaut said that Zidane gave him confidence. You may know that Courtois joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in summer of 2018. At first, the goalkeeper struggled and could not show true potential. From the start of 2019, everything changed and Zidane decided to focus more on Thibaut. Courtois believes that trust from Zidane boosts his confidence.
Save percentage of Courtois at Real Madrid
In the first season, Courtois had 65% save and it was quite good. Last season, Courtois save percent went up to 79%. It’s a big improvement for the goalkeeper and that’s why Real Madrid won the La Liga trophy. Goalkeeper saved many 99% goal-scoring shots and gave Madrid the deserved title. In this season, Courtois already played four official matches and save percentage stands at 86% – it’s a big improvement from Belgian – fans believe that he can improve a lot.
