Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has spoken to the French press about his own ambitions and said he most wants to win the UEFA Champions League. It seems that thinking about the Ballon d’Or does not prevent Mbappe from sleeping.

“My biggest wish is to win the UEFA Champions League and be a member of the club that wins its first major title – something special.

It would be good to win the “golden ball,” but thinking about it does not prevent me from sleeping. I don’t think I’m obligated to win the best award next or next season. Specific deadlines are not included in my plans.

The most important thing for me is the success of PSG and the national team. And if I also win individual awards, it will be a simple bonus, “said the French forward.

As you may know, Kylian Mbappe joined PSG in 2017, in exchange for 180 million euros from Monaco. Since then, he scored 64 goals in 76 matches in Ligue 1. Along with the club, he became the French champion three times.

Also noteworthy, that the only European success of Paris Saint-Germain dates back to 1996 when the capital club raised the Cup Winners’ Cup.

Kylian Mbappe has responded to the murder of George Floyd.

PSG striker Kylian Mbappe has responded to the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The Frenchman posted a post on Twitter with the hashtag “Justice for George.”

Recall that on May 25, African-American George Floyd was arrested by police when he tried to pay money at one of the supermarkets in Minneapolis with a fake receipt.

Floyd was knocked to the ground, handcuffed, and the police knelt on his neck, ignoring that arrested Floyd was asking for help and that he was having difficulty breathing.

As a result, George Floyd died, and four police officers involved in his arrest were fired. Officer Derek Chauvin was charged with abuse of office and manslaughter.

Following the incident, huge protests were held in Minneapolis and other US cities.
