Arsenal 2-2 Tottenham – thrilling performance on Emirates

Thriller in London derby. We saw a great game from both sides. As it was promised, Emirates hosted an excellent game on Sunday evening.

Both teams had an almost perfect starting lineup. Ndomdele has a thigh injury, so he could not help Tottenham today. Meanwhile, Bellerin has a knee injury and could not play today for Gunners.

During the pre-match press conference, Pochettino answered lots of questions about Eriksen’s future. Argentinian coach assured journalists that Cristian’s future would be confident in a few hours. Eriksen scored the opening goal today, so it was a clear sign to fans – Denmark’s midfielder is staying at Tottenham.

First half of the game

As we have mentioned above, Tottenham opened scored in the first half. Eriksen scored a goal with a ricochet, so we can’t blame the goalkeeper. After 30 minutes, Martin Atkinson saw a clear foul inside the box of Arsenal. Harry Kane put a ball on the penalty spot and successfully used this advantage – 0:2.

Last five minutes of the first half was a full dominance from Arsenal. Nicolas Pepe has shown his magical skills inside the penalty area but was not successful at all. On the 45th minute, Arsenal scored a goal and fans on Emirates witnessed three goals thriller in the first 45 minutes of the match.

The second half started with an excellent opportunity from Arsenal attackers. Gunners could not score until the 71st minute. Guendouzi crossed a ball, and Aubameyang had the first touch on the ball – 2:2;

Arsenal had a full dominance in the second half. Unfortunately for Gunners, Lacazette could be out for a few weeks or even months. He felt something in the ankle area, and the coach was quick to substitute him.

Everton 3-2 Wolves

Before London derby, Sunday we saw an exciting game between Everton and Wolves. Merseyside team secured a second win of the season. During the fourth match day in Premier League, both sides had a perfect chance to pick up three points. Everton squad looks promising while Wolves has a serious problem in defense.

Wolves can’t secure a win after four matches in the Premier League. On the other hand, Espirito’s team had a successful qualification in the Europa League. They secured a place in Group and eliminated Torino from Europa League.

The game was exciting. Especially in the first half, we saw three goals and very open competition from both sides. In 7 minutes period, teams scored three goals, and Everton won the first half.

Jimenez inspires us every match. He scored a goal on 75th and equalized the game. Unfortunately to Wolves fans, Jimenez’s goal was not enough to secure a draw in Liverpool. Richarlison scored late winning goal and Everton took 3 points.

After the fourth round, Everton is on the sixth position, and Wolves sits flat on 17th position. Wolves had only three draws in the Premier League this season, and this game was their first loss.

Marco Silva was happy with results

Everton coach Marco Silva was delighted with teamwork. He mentioned a positive attitude of attacking players. Silva praised Richarlison and asked him to keep up the good work. Richarlison was the man of the match as he scored twice today.
