The most effective was their 2019 clash. In the 70th minute, Arsenal were minutes before the 4-5 win, But Origi equalized at the 94th minute and saved Liverpool. After a 5-5 draw, Liverpool beat Arsenal in the penalty shoot-out and advanced to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
2. Norwich 4 : 5 Liverpool
Liverpool’s clash against Norwich in 2016 was one of the most spectacular matches in football history.
Roberto Firmino scored the opener, after which Norwich netted three unanswered goals and were winning the match until the 54th minute. But Liverpool scored two goals in the next eight minutes and equalized the scoring.
