Atletico Madrid want to sign Lucas Torreira on loan. But London’s Arsenal are going to sell the Uruguayan player.
As you may know, Lucas Torreira transferred to Sampdoria from Arsenal in 2018. There have been many talks lately about the Uruguayan player leaving the club and continuing his career elsewhere.
Following the signing of Luis Suarez, Atletico Madrid turned their attention to the transfer of Torreira. The Spanish club wants to add the 24-year-old to a 1-year lease.
London Arsenal themselves do not want to let the player go on loan. The goal of the English club is to sell the player and not to dismiss him. The “Gunners” want to use the money received in Luke for other transfers.
According to Sky Sports, the Italian club Torino also wants to add Arsenal’s 24-year-old Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira on a one-year lease, with the right to further purchase. But the player himself prefers to continue his career at Atletico.
Torreira transferred to Arsenal from Sampdoria in July 2018 in exchange for 28.65 million euros.
On the other hand, Arsenal are interested in Chelsea player Jorginho. It takes money to make this transfer. Nevertheless, Atletico will still try to add the player on loan.
