Manchester City committed serious breaches

 

UEFA bans Manchester City because of serious financial violations. UEFA has sentenced a fine of € 30 million (£ 25 million / $ 33 million). Has found that Manchester City Football Club committed serious breaches of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations. The Club did not cooperate with the CFCB in the investigation of this case.

 

The Man City must pay a fine of  € 30 million

The Trial Chamber has disciplined the Manchester City Football Club by ordering it to be excluded from UEFA. The club competitions in the next two seasons (i.e., 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons) and pay a forfeit of € 30 million.”The decision of the Trial Chamber is subject to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS). If the Manchester City Football Club fulfils this right. The full reasoned decision of the Trial Chamber will not be published until the final decision of the CAS is released.”As the Trial Chamber noted, the Club has the right to appeal this decision to the Arbitration Court for Sports. Therefore, UEFA will not comment further on this decision at this stage.”

Man City is upset

Manchester City responded with a statement on its official website. Expressing disappointment with this decision. But the English side is not surprised by the removal. Says that UEFA made this decision even before the investigation began.”Manchester City is upset, but not surprised, by today’s statement by the UEFA Trial Chamber.”The statement said. In December 2018, the UEFA Chief Investigator publicly analyzed the results of the investigation. So the sanctions that he intended to deliver to Manchester City before any investigation began. Decision of CAS
