Manchester United are considering an alternative if they fail to capture Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Jadon Sancho.

According to The Telegraph, Goal.com writes that the “Red Devils” are interested in the Croatian midfielder of Inter Milan, Ivan Perisic, who spent last season on loan in Bayern Munich.

Interestingly, a month ago, United were considering the option of Barcelona’s French striker, Ousmane Dembele, to replace Sancho.

Perisic, 31, made 35 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring eight goals and providing ten assists.

Perisic made a treble with Bayern after winning the German championship, the country cup, and the Champions League.

The Croatian moved to Inter in 2015, having previously played for Wolfsburg, Borussia, and Bruges.

Berbatov: “Sancho transfer? Manchester needs to strengthen another position more”

Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has spoken about his ex-club’s transfer plans:

“I heard that Manchester are trying to buy Sancho, but in my opinion, other positions need more attention, for example, defense.

“The team needs a center-back and a left-back, and after they are signed, they have to switch to United attacking.”

As we can see, the interests of the “Red Devils” and the former Bulgarian forward coincide – Sergio Reguilon is coming to the team.
