Manchester United are planning to intensify their attack on the transfer market. The main target of the “Red Devils” was named Jadon Sancho, who is highly valued by Borussia Dortmund. But Sky sport writes that Manchester United will no longer try to recruit Jadon Sancho.
BVB are demanding 125 million euros in exchange for the English winger. As recently stated by the technical director of the German club, the financial crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic will not affect Sancho’s price.
So, as MundoDeportivo writes, Manchester United consider one of Sancho’s alternatives, Barcelona’s French striker, Ousmane Dembele. The estimated transfer value of the 23-year-old striker is 60 million euros, which is about half of the amount that was paid for him. Three years ago, the transfer of Dembele cost 125 million euros to the Catalan Grandee.
Ousmane Dembele moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2017 from Borussia Dortmund. In 74 matches in the Blaugrana shirt, 19 goals and 17 assists were scored in his own assets. Dembele, along with Barcelona, has twice won La Liga and once the Spanish Cup.
