Watford faced United in the Association Cup. Xisco, the former coach of Tbilisi Dinamo says that he is satisfied with the team.

Xisco, the former coach of Dinamo Tbilisi, who moved to Watford, in December, faced Manchester United at Old Trafford yesterday and lost the match with Solskjaer with a minimal difference – 1: 0.

“I’m proud of my players,” Xisco said after the Association Cup match. “The team is developing every day, and I think we played well today. We got along well with United and today, the match was not an easy match for them.”

Watford looked convincing with the ball and without the ball for the whole 90 minutes, but everything was decided by the head of United captain Scott McTominay, who scored in the 5th minute at the beginning of the match.

“We started the match well, but 15 minutes later our good game was over. We gave Watford the initiative, and we had to play on the counter-attacks. I am happy that Jesse Lingard is back on the pitch after a long time.
