Mesut Ozil prefers to end his career rather than playing for Tottenham. The Spurs captain responded to the midfielder at a press conference.

 

Mesut Ozil has not played for Arsenal for a long time. Although after the arrival of Mikel Arteta in the team, there was hope that the German would play. But this did not happen.

Mesut will leave Arsenal next summer. According to reports, he is being watched by two teams, American DC United and Turkish Fenerbahce. Although, it is very likely that Ozil will sign a pre-contract with the Turkish club during the current winter transfer window.

Still, Mesut was asked what he thought of moving to another London club – Tottenham Hotspur, to which the midfielder replied that he would prefer to end his career rather than playing for the Spurs.

Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho gave the answer to the 32-year-old player at a press conference.

“And who told him that Tottenham are interested in signing him?” Mourinho said in response to a question from a journalist on the subject.
