Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea
After a few unsuccessful matches, Arteta’s team could finally get a big win. Team was not getting a win from November. It was very tough for Arteta to stay under pressure from the media and fans. Finally, the team could show a perfect performance and get a win. It was a very special win because it was a London derby.
Arteta started with an interesting line-up. Lacazette was the main striker from the first minute. Unusually, Laca was getting help from three attacking midfielders. Martinelli, Saka and Smith Rowe were helping him. Arsenal scored three goals in the match and it was the first time when the defenders did everything perfectly to get three points. Chelsea was able to score only one goal but they could not impact on the final result.
Leicester 2-2 Manchester United
MU played a really good match. Ole’s team could get three points from Leicester’s home stadium but Jamie Vardy was on top of the world. In the last minute of the match, after Vardy’s activity Leicester could score a perfect equalizer – it was an own-goal from MU’s defender.
Marcus Rashford gave a lead to MU in the first half. Leicester equalized the game in the first half, a few minutes before the whistle of the referee. In the second half, Ole gave a chance to Paul Pogba. French midfielder played well and after his long-crosses it was easy for Bruno and Marcus to run faster. In just a few minutes, Anthony Martial scored a goal but VAR disallowed it. MU took the lead again and it was good play this time. Bruno Fernandes scored a goal and MU fans were happy for getting three points. Unfortunately to MU fans, Jamie Vardy was very active at the end of the game. After his fast attacks, MU could not handle the pressure. Few minutes before the final whistle, MU conceded a goal.
