What can happen in Madrid?
As you may know, Real Madrid has one more game to play in the group. Currently, Los Blancos is the third club in the group. Monchengladbach is still the first team with 8 points while Shakhtar has 7 just like Los Merengues. After yesterday’s big win, Inter Milan has 5 and a big chance to qualify for next round. All the clubs in the group have a chance to advance to the next round. What will happen we don’t know because every team will try to win their respective games.
Zidane believes that Los Blancos have a chance to qualify to next round. Zinedine Zidane mentioned that squad members have to show pride and work harder. The coach added that Real Madrid will do everything to get three points against German side. Los Blancos will host Monchengladbach next Wednesday. That match will decide whether Los Blancos can qualify for next round or not.
Is there a place for optimism?
Journalists asked Zidane about optimism. Zidane said that there is still room for improvement. That’s a big part of the optimism. The coach noted that Real Madrid players are still improving their physical conditions. Keep in mind that Sergio Ramos, Valverde, Dani Carvajal and Hazard could not play. 4-5 players of the starting line-up are always injured. That could be a problem for Los Merengues this season. Zidane can’t play a match with the whole squad healthy and it’s a sad fact for the fans.
