Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back in action. After 4 years of departure, he is back and helped Sweden to get a win against Georgian national team.

On Thursday night, Zlatan was feeling good

The 39 years old striker retired from international football for good. Back in 2016, after the Euro tournament, he said that leaving the national team for youngsters is the best decision. At the same time, Sweden could not find a better generation in the last four years. That’s why Zlatan decided to come-back stronger than before.

Zlatan played from the starting line-up. Although Zlatan could not score a goal, he helped others to score a goal. Ibra gave a very beautiful assist to his teammate and he opened the score-line.

Sweden team was not confident

Host team was not confident and the final outcome is showing this. Sweden could only convert one shot into the goal. Zlatan’s team could not dominate the midfield because Georgian players were attacking a lot. Fortunately to Swedish team, Georgian players missed two big chances in the second half. Georgian players were very aggressive in the final-stage of the attacks. They failed to score a goal and that’s why Sweden could easily keep the score until the very end. The main coach of Sweden replaced Zlatan with a new striker. He played 84 minutes and it was enough for him to make a big change. Swedish newspapers wrote that without Zlatan, the team won’t be able to win big games. They called the game against Georgia as very important and getting three points on Thursday will have positive consequences. Zlatan’s team will play against Kosovo today and it will be an interesting game. Experts believe that Kosovo is in a good form and they might win the first game of the group stage against Zlatan’s team.
